Nissan Motor India has announced the expansion of its CNG retrofitment program, introducing Government-approved CNG retrofitment for the New Nissan Magnite BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT). Following the strong customer response to the retrofitment program launched earlier this year for the New Nissan Magnite BR10 Manual Transmission, this latest development marks another milestone in Nissan’s commitment to accessible, efficient, and customer-centric mobility solutions. The certification for the BR10 EZ-Shift (AMT) variant now enables a wider set of customers to opt for a factory-approved, high-quality retrofit solution, combining Nissan’s trusted performance with the cost-efficiency of CNG. In line with customer response, feedback and global best practices, the company has also introduced a re-engineered fuelling system.
CNG retrofitted New Nissan Magnite to come with 3 year or 1 lakh km warranty. Further strengthening its value proposition, Nissan announced an MRP of ₹71,999/- for the CNG retrofitment kit, following the recent GST rate reduction from 28% to 18%. The price has been effective across all authorised Nissan CNG retrofitment centres pan-India starting 22nd September 2025. Price is unchanged despite the upgrade. Earlier this year, the Nissan CNG retrofitment program was initially launched across 7 states—Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, and Karnataka—and subsequently expanded to 6 more—Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu—taking the total coverage to 13 states across India.
