Škoda Auto India has expanded its retail and service network to over 350 customer touchpoints across 193 cities, marking nearly 85% growth from 191 outlets in 2021. The company achieved the milestone on October 30, 2026, with its entry into Manipur through a new outlet in Imphal, the first presence of a Volkswagen Group brand in the state.
Supported by 79 dealer partners, the network spans 29 states and Union Territories, with 270 sales and 203 aftersales touchpoints, including multiple two- and three-service facilities. Between January 2025 and October 2026, Škoda added 58 showrooms in 38 new cities and 45 workshops in 34 cities. New outlets contributed over 25% of the brand’s overall sales between January and October 2026.
In Guwahati, the expansion could improve access to Škoda vehicles and servicing across Northeast India. The company has the widest geographical coverage among Volkswagen Group brands in the region and entered 11 new cities in 2026, including Jorhat and Imphal. The wider network could help the brand tap emerging regional demand beyond metropolitan centres.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said dealer partners were central to the company’s growth strategy. Its dealer network ranked first for dealership customer experience in the CarPhD survey, which covered 16 cities, 18 brands and 88,000 customer reviews. Škoda offers four models in India: Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq. It sold 72,665 cars in 2025, registering 107% year-on-year growth.
