The company is strengthening its presence in Assam with a ₹30,000 crore investment to develop 5,000 MW of renewable energy projects. Under a new MoU, the state will provide 20,000 acres of land for solar, wind, hydro, and storage initiatives. Rooftop solar expansion under the PMSGY scheme is expected to create 3,000 jobs. In Guwahati, Tata Power’s renewable push is anticipated to boost demand for solar solutions and allied services. Local businesses and households stand to benefit from the company’s affordable rooftop solar offerings, aligning with Assam’s clean energy ambitions.
