According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, international passenger traffic grew 11.4% between January and November 2024 compared to the previous year, reflecting increased global travel demand. Vi’s revamped IR packs feature data boosts—from 1GB to 30GB depending on the plan—and allow customers to activate roaming up to 60 days in advance via the Vi app or website. Additional perks include 24×7 international roaming assistance and baggage protection via a partnership with Blue Ribbon Bags, providing compensation up to Rs 19,800 for delayed or lost luggage at a nominal Rs 99 fee.
