17th Jorhat Dimasa Students’ Union Freshers’ Meet 2025 honors academic excellence, culture, and youth

The 17th Jorhat Dimasa Students’ Union Freshers’ Meet 2025 brought together students, faculty, and community people from all around Assam with remarkable fervor and cultural vibrancy. The occasion served as a venue for welcoming new Dimasa students and encouraging them to succeed academically while maintaining their cultural and personal identity. Insightful speeches, inspirational discussions, and vibrant cultural performances highlighted the unity of the group and the depth of Dimasa tradition.

The freshmen received well wishes from the dignitaries in attendance, who urged them to embrace diligence, modesty, and tenacity as they begin their academic careers. Waisoring Maibangsa, Deputy Manager, ICICI Bank, Jorhat; Thaihamdao Longmailai, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Jorhat Engineering College; David Haflongbar, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Mariani; Provid Langthasa, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Golaghat; and Dr. Phirose Kemprai, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Debraj Roy College, were among the notable guests who graced the occasion.
