‘Nagaland–Japan Connect 2026’ Launched to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation and People‑to‑People Bonds

The Government of Nagaland, through the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence for Foreign Languages (CoEFL), is organizing Nagaland-Japan Connect 2026 to promote investment and strengthen ties between Nagaland and Japan. This initiative follows a high-level delegation led by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio to Japan, culminating in a Government-to-Government partnership solidified by a memorandum of understanding with Kochi Prefecture in July 2025. The event focuses on human capital development, integrating skill development, language proficiency, and cultural exchange. Key activities include job interviews with Japanese companies and sensitization on career opportunities in Japan, ultimately aiming to create a recurring flagship event that fosters international cooperation and economic growth in Nagaland.
