Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has announced the launch of 54 new customer touchpoints across the country in the first quarter of calendar year 2026, marking one of its largest network expansion drives in India. The move significantly strengthens Nissan’s sales and service footprint and aligns with its broader product-led growth strategy. The newly added facilities include a mix of 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts), 2S and 1S outlets, strategically spread across key cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Patna, Jaipur, Pune and others. The expansion is aimed at enhancing accessibility, improving customer reach and delivering a more seamless brand experience.
Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said the expansion reflects Nissan’s commitment to growth as it strengthens its portfolio with models like the All-New Nissan GRAVITE and upcoming launches including the Nissan TEKTON and a C-segment 7-seater SUV. He added that the company is targeting 400 touchpoints by FY27. The expansion comes amid strong market momentum, with Nissan reporting cumulative sales of 10,388 units in March 2026, including its highest domestic wholesale in five years at 4,408 units, marking a 98 per cent growth.
In Guwahati, the expansion is expected to enhance Nissan’s presence in the Northeast, where demand for compact and mid-size SUVs like the Nissan MAGNITE is steadily rising. Improved service reach and customer engagement are likely to strengthen brand penetration in Assam and neighbouring states.
