Agartala, Silchar, Sairang Bound Trains Rescheduled By NFR Amid Restoration Work

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has cancelled and rescheduled operations of several trains in the wake of ongoing restoration work near New Harangajao station following the settlement of railway tracks (Line-1 and Line-2).
Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place.
In view of the ongoing restoration work, NFR has announced additional changes in train services.
“Train number 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express commencing journey on August 10, 2026 has been cancelled. Train number 15618 (Dullabcherra – Guwahati) Express, commencing journey on August 11, 2026 has been cancelled,” an NFR official said.
“Train number 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026, and train number 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express, commencing journey on August 11, 2026, have been cancelled,” the official said.
On the other hand, train number 15650 (Narangi – Agartala) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 10.30pm.
“Train number 15649 (Agartala – Narangi) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 11.30pm; train number 15609 (Guwahati – Sairang) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 11:30 pm; train number 15610 (Sairang – Guwahati) Express commencing journey on August 10 has been rescheduled to depart at 9:30 pm.
Likewise, train number 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026, has been rescheduled to depart at 11.30 pm; train number 15612 (Silchar – Rangiya) Express, commencing journey on August 10, 2026 has been rescheduled to depart at 5am on August 11, 2026.
Besides, train number 20501 (Agartala – Anand Vihar Terminal) Tejas Express, commencing journey on August 10, has been rescheduled at 11pm while train number 14037 (Silchar – New Delhi) Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express, commencing journey on August 10 has been rescheduled at 4.10am on August 11.
