Godrej Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest will hold its 17th edition from October 23 to 25 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), with Godrej Industries Group joining as the Title Partner as part of a new multi-year association.
The festival, which has completed 16 editions, is positioned as a platform connecting writers, thinkers, performers and audiences across generations. Its 2026 programme will span literature, cinema, journalism, economics, medicine, history, arts, sport, technology, environment, identity and the digital ecosystem.
The line-up features Aditi Mittal, Anurag Minus Verma, Ayaz Memon, Boria Majumdar, Cyriac Abby Philips, Faye D’Souza, Gagan Gill, Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, Jerry Pinto, Kaushik Basu, Ramachandra Guha, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shashi Tharoor, Shefali Shah and Sonali Kulkarni, among others.
Key attractions include the Godrej Literature Live! Literary Awards for Lifetime Achievement, Poet Laureate, Fiction, Non-fiction and Business books, besides the Great Debate, Book in Focus, international performances, workshops, book launches and book swap. The Godrej DEI Lab will continue its inclusion focus, while the Literature Live! Little Festival, in collaboration with HT Parekh Foundation, will cater to children.
In Guwahati, the festival’s focus on business, technology, digital trends and contemporary ideas could provide relevant themes for the city’s growing readership, publishing, education and cultural ecosystem.
