The Deputy Inspector General( DIG) of Itanagar Capital Range Police, Tumme Amo, has issued a strict zero- forbearance directive against corruption across all police establishments and public haggling points under the range. The order instructs all SPs, SDPOs, OCs, and administrative officers to uphold the loftiest norms of integrity, translucency, and responsibility in policing. It specifically prohibits illegal collection of plutocrat related to services similar as entry into Arunachal Pradesh without an Inner Line Permit( ILP), vehicle movement through check gates, business violation agreements outside legal forfeitures, FIR enrollment or repression, release of indicted persons, complaint closures, police verification, and other police- related services. The directive warns that any involvement in corruption, highway robbery, or abuse of sanctioned position will lead to strict departmental and legal action. Police units have also been directed to conduct regular mindfulness briefings for labor force, display public notices encouraging citizens to report misconduct, and strengthen public trust through transparent policing practices.
