Assam BJP Organises Exhibition To Showcase State’s Achievements Under PM Modi’s Leadership In 12 Years

The Assam Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party is organising a four-day exhibition at Swahid Smarak Kshetra in Guwahati to commemorate and showcase the transformative achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past 12 years.
State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Dilip Saikia, and Assam Finance Minister, Jayanta Malla Baruah, inaugurated the exhibition on Tuesday.
Addressing party leaders, karyakartas, and members of the public during the inauguration, BJP State President Dilip Saikia remarked, “The people of Assam shall remain eternally grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the unparalleled contributions he has made towards the progress, prosperity, and dignity of our State.”
“Through his far-sighted leadership and inclusive governance, the deeply rooted perception of “neglect” has been replaced by a profound sense of trust, confidence, and belonging among the people of Assam and the North-East. Today, without the necessity of agitations or confrontational politics, many long-cherished aspirations of the people of Assam have been translated into tangible achievements. New Delhi is no longer perceived as distant from Assam, either geographically or emotionally,” a BJP spokesperson said.
“Throughout his tenure, the Prime Minister has undertaken numerous transformative initiatives that have not only dispelled long-standing misconceptions but have also fostered an unprecedented atmosphere of faith and goodwill. From the preservation of religious heritage to the promotion of cultural harmony, from world-class infrastructure development to accelerated industrialisation, every sphere bears testimony to the Prime Minister’s deep affection and unwavering commitment towards the people of Assam,” he said.
The spokesperson further said that Recognising the North-East as the nation’s “Ashta Lakshmi”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spearheaded a developmental renaissance that is unparalleled in the post-Independence history of the region.
“The remarkable accomplishments witnessed during the past 12 years include the construction of the nation’s longest bridge connecting Dhubri and Phulbari, the country’s only combined road-and-rail tunnel beneath the Brahmaputra River, the semiconductor manufacturing project at Jagiroad, the first major industrial venture of its kind in the North-East, the transformation of the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport into one of the world’s ten most aesthetically distinguished airports, the inscription of Charaideo Maidams as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the comprehensive development of the sacred birthplace of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva at Bordowa,” he said.
