Birla Fertility & IVF Partners with Pasighat’s Health Care Hospital to Expand Fertility Care in Arunachal Pradesh

Birla Fertility & IVF, one of India’s largest IVF networks, has partnered with Health Care Hospital in Pasighat to expand access to advanced fertility care in Arunachal Pradesh, marking a significant step in strengthening specialised healthcare services across the Northeast. The collaboration aims to reduce the dependence of patients on metro cities and distant treatment hubs for fertility services. Under the partnership, consultations, scans, ovulation monitoring and IUI procedures will be made available locally at Health Care Hospital, Pasighat, under the clinical guidance and treatment protocols of Birla Fertility & IVF’s Guwahati centre. The model is expected to ease financial and logistical challenges faced by couples seeking fertility treatment.

Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Kalpana Jain, Senior Consultant and Centre Head, Birla Fertility & IVF, Guwahati, said the partnership seeks to ensure that access to advanced fertility care is not restricted by geography. Health Care Hospital CMD Dr. K Megu said the collaboration would help patients access essential fertility services closer to home, while Dr. James Modi highlighted the importance of timely consultations and specialist support.

In Guwahati, the partnership underscores the city’s growing importance as a healthcare hub for the Northeast. As healthcare providers increasingly adopt regional collaboration models, Guwahati-based institutions are extending specialised services into underserved markets, creating new growth opportunities while improving access to quality medical care across neighbouring states. As part of the initiative, Birla Fertility & IVF hosted the ‘Fertility Unscripted’ CME programme in Pasighat, bringing together gynaecologists, fertility specialists and healthcare professionals from across the region. The programme featured sessions on successful IUI practices, recurrent pregnancy loss, decentralising fertility care, and medical ethics, while fostering knowledge-sharing and stronger clinical collaboration in the Northeast.
