According to transaction documents accessed by Propstack, Google India has leased approximately 617,000 square feet of premium office space at Atrium Place in Gurugram. The total financial commitment for the five-year lease stands at an impressive 671 crore rupees. Under the terms of the agreement, which commenced retrospectively on October 1, 2025, Google will pay a monthly rent of around 10.55 crore rupees to occupy floors two through sixteen of Tower 1.
Atrium Place is a high-profile joint venture between DLF and Hines. Google is securing the Grade A commercial space at a lease rate of 171 rupees per square foot and has already deposited a security amount of 63.65 crore rupees. The agreement also features a standard 15 percent rent escalation clause every three years.
This major expansion follows a string of large-scale real estate acquisitions by Google, including leasing 550,000 square feet from TableSpace and renewing an 870,000 square foot lease in Bengaluru. Market analysts highlight that this deal underscores a significant surge in demand for premium corporate real estate in Gurugram. Just recently, Airbnb also secured space in DLF Cyber City for its global capability center. Data shows that these global capability centers are aggressively driving India’s office leasing market, accounting for a staggering 44 percent of the total 20.7 million square feet absorbed in the first quarter of 2026 alone.
