Women’s apparel brand Kraus Jeans has expanded its retail footprint into Northeast India with the launch of its first store in Guwahati, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and taking its nationwide network to 31 exclusive brand outlets.
Located at Roodraksh Mall near the Bhangagarh Flyover on G.S. Road, the 550 sq. ft. outlet brings the brand’s denim-led fashion and contemporary casualwear collections closer to consumers in the region. To mark the opening, Kraus Jeans is offering customers a special inaugural promotion of “Buy 2 or More and Get 40% Off” on selected styles.
The store features some of the brand’s popular collections, including Super Wide Leg, Straight Fit, Wide Leg denims, the Linen Collection and Baby Tees, targeting fashion-conscious women seeking a blend of comfort, quality and trend-led design.
Ravi Punjabi, Founder of Kraus Jeans, said the company views Northeast India as a promising growth market amid rising retail and fashion consumption. He noted that Guwahati’s position as the commercial gateway to the Northeast and its growing base of fashion-aware consumers make it an attractive destination for the brand’s expansion plans.
Guwahati has emerged as one of the Northeast’s fastest-growing retail hubs, supported by increasing disposable incomes, expanding organised retail infrastructure and changing consumer preferences. The entry of national fashion brands such as Kraus Jeans highlights the city’s growing importance in India’s apparel market, with retailers increasingly looking at Guwahati as a strategic gateway to tap demand across the wider Northeast region.
Kraus Jeans currently operates exclusive outlets across key markets including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Chhattisgarh. The company said it will continue expanding its retail presence while strengthening its position as a comprehensive casualwear destination for women.
