Mohan Bhagwat to Visit Assam on Three-Day Tour from May 13

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat will arrive in Assam on May 13 on a three-day visit.

According to a press statement issued by Kishore Shivam, Bhagwat will land at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati on Tuesday afternoon and proceed directly to Hojai.

A training camp titled Karyakarta Vikas Varg–Ek (Second Year) began on May 11 at the Sanskar Mandir Project परिसर and will continue till June 1.

Bhagwat is scheduled to remain present at the camp on May 14, 15 and 16 as part of his regular visits to RSS training programmes.

On May 17 morning, he will return to Guwahati. After a short rest at Sudarshanalay in Barbari, he will leave for Nagpur.

The 20-day training programme is being conducted by the RSS Assam Kshetra unit. Only swayamsevaks who have completed earlier RSS training are eligible to participate.

A total of 103 volunteers from five regions are attending the camp, including North Assam, South Assam, Tripura, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.

The participants include 56 from North Assam, 20 from Tripura, 13 from Manipur, 8 from South Assam and 6 from Arunachal Pradesh.
