At a time when several cab companies controlled from outside the state are doing business in Assam solely for the purpose of making money—depriving drivers of their rightful dues and security through unilateral policies—two highly educated and talented youths of Assam have stepped up to challenge other cab services by developing a new cab service. Prioritizing passenger safety and driver dignity, a brand new cab service named ‘Alin Cab’ is all set to be launched soon in Guwahati.
Developed through the joint efforts of Arindam Ratre and Akash Gogoi, two highly educated Assamese youths from Golaghat, the details of this upcoming new cab service app, ‘Alin Cab’, were disclosed by them during a press conference. It is worth mentioning that this cab service app is being launched for local Assamese drivers after four months of dedicated effort by two students currently in their second semester of a Master’s degree in Engineering.
They expressed hope that both drivers and passengers will benefit significantly from this new cab service app, which has been built to ensure respect for drivers and safety for passengers. Keeping in mind the objective of generating employment for Assamese youth and empowering local drivers, a large number of young men and women will be able to secure employment through this cab service app.
