Bajaj Auto Ltd has reintroduced the Pulsar 180 with upgraded features, indicating a renewed focus on India’s fast-growing mid-capacity commuter motorcycle segment. Priced at Rs 1,22,490 (ex-showroom Delhi), the model now comes with new graphics, an LED headlamp, LED blinkers, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital console.
The relaunch aligns with the 25-year milestone of the Pulsar brand, which began with the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 and went on to define India’s performance biking category. The company said the revival is driven by sustained consumer demand and strong brand recall, particularly among riders seeking an upgrade from 150–160cc motorcycles.
Industry observers note that the Pulsar 180 historically bridged the gap between entry-level commuters and higher displacement bikes, offering a balance of performance and practicality. The updated model retains its aggressive styling while integrating modern connectivity features, positioning it competitively in a segment witnessing rising demand.
Sarang Kanade, President, MCBU, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said the move reflects both legacy value and evolving consumer expectations, adding that the brand continues to stand for “power, precision and contemporary design.”
