Renault India has expanded its premium SUV portfolio with the launch of the Duster Adventure Edition, a special edition of its flagship SUV, priced from ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), as the automaker seeks to strengthen its presence in India’s fast-growing SUV segment. Unveiled on Bastille Day by French Ambassador to India Thierry Mathou and Renault Group India CEO Stéphane Deblaise, the limited edition celebrates the Duster’s legacy in India while reinforcing Renault’s French engineering heritage. Available in Turbo TCe 100 MT, Turbo TCe 160 MT and Turbo TCe 160 DCT variants, the Adventure Edition is priced at ₹12.99 lakh, ₹13.99 lakh and ₹15.39 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The special edition features exclusive Adventure decals with topographical contour lines and the geographical coordinates of Leh, along with Adventure embellishers and premium floor mats. It also comes equipped with full LED headlamps, an electric panoramic sunroof, electric powered tailgate, connected car services through the My Renault app, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch openR link multimedia system and 17-inch Ocean alloy wheels. Commenting on the launch, Stéphane Deblaise said the Duster had become an iconic vehicle that created lasting memories for customers across India, adding that the Adventure Edition celebrates the strong emotional connection associated with the SUV.
Renault manufactures its vehicles at its Oragadam facility in Chennai, which has an annual production capacity of 4.8 lakh units, and operates nearly 638 sales and service touchpoints across India, including more than 200 Workshop on Wheels locations. The launch is expected to support Renault’s growth strategy in Guwahati and the Northeast, where SUVs continue to witness healthy demand due to varied terrain and improving road infrastructure. With buyers increasingly preferring feature-rich and adventure-focused vehicles, the Duster Adventure Edition is likely to strengthen Renault’s competitiveness in the region’s mid-size SUV market while enhancing dealership traffic and customer interest.
