Xiaomi India has announced the launch of its first Mini LED television lineup in the country, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series, marking its entry into advanced display technology in India. The new series is built on QD Mini-LED technology, combining Quantum Dot colour with precise Mini LED backlighting to deliver improved contrast, brightness, and colour accuracy. The televisions offer peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, along with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode to ensure cinematic viewing aligned with creators’ intent. The lineup supports 4K Ultra HD resolution and features DLG 120Hz, MEMC, and Auto Low Latency Mode, targeting smooth performance for gaming and sports content. It is equipped with a 34W quad-speaker system supported by Dolby Audio and DTS technologies for an immersive sound experience.
Commenting on the launch, Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India, said the focus is on improving display performance with better brightness control and consistent picture quality, especially for larger screens. Available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch variants, the series will go on sale from April 22 across online and retail platforms, with prices starting at ₹51,999. Pre-bookings are open with bank offers and extended warranty benefits.
In Guwahati, the launch is expected to tap into rising demand for larger smart TVs driven by increased OTT consumption and live sports viewership. Retailers in the region are witnessing a shift toward premium display technologies, and Xiaomi’s competitive pricing and financing options could further accelerate adoption in the Northeast market.
