12 Years as PM: Modi Hails Public Service as Key to Good Governance, Vows Focus on Viksit Bharat

Narendra Modi has set a rare record in the country’s political history by completing 12 consecutive years as Prime Minister. Marking this special milestone, Prime Minister Modi shared his response on social media, describing public service as the biggest test of good governance.

In a message posted on social media, Modi said, “Public service is the biggest test of good governance.” He noted that over the past 12 years, his government has worked with the goal of improving people’s quality of life and advancing the nation’s overall progress.

According to the Prime Minister, remarkable changes have been brought about in areas such as welfare for the poor, social justice, infrastructure development, digital transformation, and the empowerment of ordinary citizens. He said, “With the goal of a Viksit Bharat in mind, we are continuously working to make people’s lives easier and to accelerate the pace of development.”

Modi added that for more than a decade, citizens’ welfare has been prioritized in every decision taken by the government. The Prime Minister assured that he will continue to work with the same resolve in the future.

Notably, after first taking oath as Prime Minister on 26 May 2014, his government at the Centre completed 12 years on Tuesday.
