Godrej Foundation Launches ‘Tomorrow Makers’ to Unlock India’s Untapped Talent

The Godrej Foundation has announced the launch of ‘Tomorrow Makers’, a national platform aimed at identifying and supporting high-potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds across India in fields such as STEM, innovation, arts and defence. The initiative will support students from Classes 6 to 12 as well as graduates through programmes run by eight partner organisations. The platform seeks to bridge gaps in access to mentorship, advanced learning and career opportunities for students from underserved communities.

According to the foundation, Tomorrow Makers will offer four pathways — STEM, Invention and Making, Arts, and Defence. Partner organisations include Avanti Fellows, Dakshana, Slam Out Loud, Drama School Mumbai, Delta Squad Foundation and Yuvatejas. Omar Momin, CEO of Godrej Foundation, said the platform aims to create pathways for future innovators, researchers, artists, entrepreneurs and public leaders by nurturing talent from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The programme will also provide need-based scholarships for students unable to afford training and coaching programmes. Students can apply through the platform’s website or WhatsApp-based registration system, followed by an online assessment process available in multiple Indian languages for younger students.

In Guwahati, education experts and coaching institutes said initiatives like Tomorrow Makers could benefit talented students from Assam and the Northeast, where many families continue to face limited access to quality mentorship and specialised training in competitive exams, robotics, performing arts and defence preparation.
