TVS Motor Company has unveiled four production-ready models at EICMA 2026 in Milan, strengthening its European expansion strategy across electric mobility, premium urban transportation and lightweight sports motorcycling. The models are the TVS Orbiter, M1-S, X and RTR 125.
The Orbiter offers removable battery options of 1.8 kWh and 3.1 kWh, while the M1-S delivers 12.5 kW of peak power and a 105 km/h top speed. The premium TVS X produces 11.7 kW, while the RTR 125 targets entry-level sports motorcycle riders. The company has sold over one million electric scooters globally and invested more than $1 billion in electric vehicle and battery ecosystems.
TVS reported 110 per cent sales growth in Italy over the past year, supported by more than 100 retailers, alongside 22 outlets across Spain and Portugal. It plans to expand into France and Germany. The company aims to raise international business contribution to 30 per cent or more of revenue by 2030. Peyman Kargar, President of International Business, will become CEO on January 27, 2027.
For Guwahati, the development highlights opportunities in electric two-wheelers and premium motorcycles as urban mobility needs evolve. However, TVS has not announced launch plans or pricing for these European-specification models in India.
The company’s 19-vehicle EICMA showcase also features special editions celebrating its racing heritage.
