Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh stated that the state has faced significant challenges over the past three years due to unrest, which has disrupted the lives and livelihoods of its residents. He expressed optimism about the gradual return of peace and stability, acknowledging the financial and mental hardships inflicted on the population. The Chief Minister attended a distribution program for welfare schemes organized by the Manipur Social Welfare Department.
The programme at the City Convention Centre in Imphal showcased benefits amounting to Rs 91.66 crore. Chief Minister Singh highlighted various initiatives taken by the state government to alleviate financial difficulties faced by the populace. He expressed optimism that these benefits would offer relief to the people.
