TVS Motor accelerates rider engagement with nationwide World Motorcycle Day campaign

TVS Motor Company strengthened its focus on rider engagement and road safety by bringing together more than 1,000 motorcyclists across 17 cities in India to mark World Motorcycle Day. The nationwide initiative highlighted the company’s strategy of building stronger rider communities while promoting safe and responsible riding practices. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and TVS Ronin communities. Riders took part in awareness-led rides that emphasized the use of protective riding gear, adherence to traffic regulations, responsible riding behaviour and respect for local communities and public spaces. The initiative reflects the company’s broader effort to nurture a sustainable and safety-focused motorcycling culture.

TVS Motor also used the occasion to spotlight the growth of its premium motorcycle portfolio. The company said TVS Apache, which is celebrating 20 years of racing heritage, has built a global customer base of over 6.5 million riders, while the Apache riding community has expanded to more than 500,000 registered members. Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company, said motorcycling today is defined by freedom, responsibility and camaraderie, adding that the company remains committed to creating experiences that make riding safer and more memorable.

The flagship ride was held in Bengaluru, where more than 100 customers participated in curated riding experiences and community interactions. Guwahati continues to emerge as a strategic market for premium motorcycles due to its position as the gateway to Northeast India and the Himalayan tourism circuit. Growing interest in touring, adventure riding and premium biking communities has boosted demand for performance-oriented motorcycles in the region. Industry observers believe community-driven initiatives such as TVS Motor’s World Motorcycle Day campaign can further strengthen brand engagement and encourage responsible riding among the expanding base of motorcycle enthusiasts in North Bengal and neighbouring Northeast states.
